I am now just another face in the unemployment line looking for something that was lost or stolen. You see I live in a world that evaluates man and responsibility with employment. A job means you are responsible and without one...you risk being labeled as irresponsible.
Dear reader, who are we without this part of our identity. Pastor, Teacher, Mechanic, Musician, Real Estate Agent, Nurse, Artist, etc... Each title brings with it a portion of identity - it is how we relate to each other in this world.
Even God used titles to describe His followers. Abram became Abraham specifically to show identity.
So what happens when part of your identity is stolen away? It seems more commonplace today than ever before in my lifetime.
