iPad 2

So Apple announced the new iPad 2...all those who already don't like Apple products have announced how "underwhelmed" they are. I would like to know how many of them own stock in Apple?

It seems that if Microsoft were just coming on the scene today, we would have a huge "underwhelmed" crowd throwing stones at the ridiculousness of their operating system. Since they are established there is little discussion.

If your in marketing you must have awareness of the genius of Apple to continue to create excitement every few months. Whether or not you like Apple products, I think everyone likes to see their investments go up.

The iPad created a whole new series of markets that did not exist before...as partially shown in the launch video for iPad 2. Even in the "pad" technology companies have launched competitor products in an attempt to compete with the iPad. The economy as a whole should continue to be looking for revolutionary ideas such as this to create new opportunities for more people to become employed.

Remember, if the iPad was soo boring, everyone wouldn't be wanting one...and my grandson wouldn't want to play with it.

A weekend away!

A weekend away with my sweetheart of nearly 30 years. Two nights free and time to be with each other. I guess we could wish it was in Cancun...or at least someplace warm, but two nights free is enjoyable all the same.
